Nine properties across Teesside at auction with starting price of £1,000 each

They may need redecorating, smartening up or full restorations, but nine terraced properties on Teesside are bound to be popular in Bond Wolfe Auctions next auction later this month.

Because each one of these family-sized starter homes will have a guide price* of just £1,000 when they go under the hammer on Wednesday 24 June.

And what makes the lots even more attractive is that six of them are located just a short walk from seafront.

There’s a two-bedroomed, mid-terraced house at 6 Dixon Street in Skelton-in-Cleveland, a small town close to the Victorian resort of Saltburn-by-the-Sea.

While this house is currently boarded up and is said to be needing “refurbishment”, it benefits from a rear yard and double glazing.

Meanwhile, just down the road at 67 Jackson Street in the village of Brotton, there’s a two-bedroomed, mid-terraced that boasts central heating and double glazing as well as a rear yard.

Even closer to the seafront are four terraced properties in Hartlepool, including a pair of two-bedroomed, mid-terraced houses at 69 Rodney Street and 17 Stephen Street.

In the same coastal town are two end-terraced properties, a two-bedroomed at 48 Dent Street and a three-bedroomed at 25 Cornwall Street. All four Hartlepool homes have rear yards.

Another three mid-terraced properties starting at £1,000 are inland, including one with three bedrooms at 70 King Street, Middlesbrough, one with two bedrooms in the same town at 60 Jubilee Street, and a third with three bedrooms at 117 Westbury Street in Thornaby, Stockton-on-Tees.
