Family-sized homes across the Black Country with starting prices as low as £5,000 are going under the hammer at Bond Wolfe Auctions’ remote bidding auction on Wednesday 24 June.

Buyers will be particularly interested in a three-bedroomed, end-terraced house at 2 Prosser Street in the Park Village area of Wolverhampton, which has a guide price* of £5,000+.

Competitive bidding is also expected for a two-bedroomed, mid-terraced house just along the road at 51 Prosser Street, also with a £5,000 guide price.

Both these properties have rear gardens, double glazing and central heating, and they are located near to small parks and allotments to the north-east of Wolverhampton town centre.

Another property with an attractive £5,000 guide price is a two-bedroomed, semi-detached house with front and back gardens, double glazing and central heating at 115 Green Park Road, opposite Roseland Playing Fields in Dudley.

Gurpreet Bassi, chief executive at Bond Wolfe Auctions, said: “Whether you’re a first-time buyer or a landlord looking to expand your portfolio, attractively priced lots such as these deserve your keen attention.

“These properties might need some DIY and redecorating skills, but young families could still end up with a home to be proud of for a fraction of the normal asking price for a Black Country property.

Another interesting lot in the auction is a two-bedroomed, semi-detached house at 25a Holloway Street in Upper Gornal, Dudley, with a guide price of £24,000 to £29,000.

A much smarter two-bedroomed, end-terraced house at 15 Villiers Street, just around the corner from the train station in Kidderminster, has a guide price of £34,000 to £39,000.

Back in Wolverhampton, a three-bedroomed, semi-detached house with gardens just east of the city centre at 10 Stanton Road has a guide price of £34,000 to £39,000.

Meanwhile, a two-bedroomed, semi-detached dormer bungalow at 2 Greenly Road, near Phoenix Park to the south of the city, has a guide price of £48,000 to £54,000.

Mr Bassi added: “With this being our first auction since the COVID-19 pandemic, we’re expecting huge interest, with many more properties from across the Black Country, Birmingham and the wider West and East Midlands, and from as far away as Hartlepool and Sussex.”
