Traditional values, modern solutions

Do you have a property to sell or let?

Homes with price tags as low as £20,000 are among a range of properties across Stoke-on-Trent appearing at Bond Wolfe Auctions’ next online livestreamed auction on Wednesday 17 February.

The record-breaking auction of 232 lots is the biggest catalogue ever offered in the Midlands and will start at the earlier time of 8.30am.

Bargain-hunters galore will be logging-on for the event with even three bedroom semi-detached houses listed at just £50,000 or less – way below current market values for properties in Stoke.

Gurpeet Bassi, chief executive of Bond Wolfe Auctions, said: “With 232 lots up for sale at our next auction, there is a wide range of properties, areas and starting prices to look at.

“But for those looking for a property in and around Stoke-on-Trent, there are a number of homes that will catch the eyes of bidders because of their highly affordable starting prices.

“While they may need some renovation or modernisation work, they will all make perfect homes for growing families, or for a landlord seeking to extend their portfolios in these areas.”

Among those with a bargain-basement £20,000+ guide price* is a two bedroom mid terraced house at 32 Hillary Street, in Cobridge. In need of modernisation, it has two reception rooms, an understairs cupboard, kitchen and bathroom with WC on the ground floor with two bedrooms upstairs and gardens to the rear. It also benefits from gas fire central heating and UPVC double glazing.

A guide price of £44,000-£49,000 has been set for a distinctive two bedroom detached house at 161 Jamage Road, Talke Pits, on the rural edge of Stoke-on-Trent. With gardens front and rear, the property benefits from double glazing but is in need of modernisation.

A couple of miles away in Kidsgrove a guide price of £50,000-£55,000 has been set for a three bedroom end terraced house at 1 Stonebank Road. Downstairs the property comprises two reception rooms, a kitchen, pantry/store, sunroom and a WC, while the bedrooms and bathroom with WC are on the first floor.

Mr Bassi added: “As always, we have a great choice of attractive properties and a wide range of starting prices all over Stoke and its surrounding communities, which means there will be something for everybody.”

They are among a total of 232 lots that will go under the hammer at Bond Wolfe Auctions’ auction on Wednesday 17 February.

It starts earlier than usual, at 8.30am, because of the record number of lots and will be livestreamed via Bond Wolfe Auctions’ website with remote bidding by proxy, telephone or internet only.  Click here to register to bid.
