Social distance/virtual auction appraisal
If you are thinking about selling your property during the Covid-19 pandemic, selling by auction is fast, secure and hassle-free with an immediate exchange of contracts and fixed completion date. We are also delighted to launch our new 360° video tours, showing your property is the best possible light and allowing potential purchasers to guide themselves around it internally before arranging to view it in person (28,786 watched our video tours for our 24th June auction, so they are providing a great success).
We can arrange a social distance auction appraisal or a virtual appraisal if access is not possible or if the property is occupied and you would prefer that we did not enter.
Our 10 step guide to your social distance/virtual property appraisal
1. Call our team
Give our auction team a call on 0121 312 1212 to discuss your property. As Midlands’ number 1 auctioneers, our team are available to offer their free and impartial advice, and being the only Auctioneers in the Midlands with dedicated specialists in residential and commercial properties and land/development sites, we are best placed to give you tailored advice to suit your personal circumstances.
2. Complete our free appraisal form
Alternatively, you can click here to complete our free ‘auction appraisal’ form.
3. Desktop valuation
Our member of staff will carry out a desktop valuation using their expert knowledge, experience and our database of properties to include hundreds of thousands of property sales.
4. Full valuation
If you would like one of our team to attend your property to carry out a full valuation, you can then book this in over the phone.
5. Symptoms or high risk individuals
If your property is occupied, we ask that you inform us immediately if you or anyone in your property is considered to be “high risk”, if you have had any Covid-19 symptoms or you are aware that you have been in contact with anyone that has. If you haven’t we will arrange a day and a time to visit your property.
6. Vacant properties
If your property is vacant, we ask that you open up your property and wait in your vehicle whilst the valuation is carried out.
7. Occupied properties
On the day of the valuation, we would ask that surfaces and handles are cleaned and that doors are left open. We would also ask that you wait in your car, garden or one room whilst our staff member carries out the valuation.
For your safety and theirs, our valuer will be wearing all of the appropriate PPE to include gloves, mask and visors.
9. Telephone or video call
Following the valuation, our member of staff will exit your property and call you from their vehicle or arrange a video call to discuss their valuation with you. They will give you an indication of what price you could achieve at auction and our honest advice about the best method of selling your property to best suit your circumstances.
10. Terms & Conditions
Terms and conditions will then be sent to you by email (preferably) or post for you to consider and return to us should you wish to proceed.
